Just before I left for a two week vacation we got to know our project. Together with Keith (Canada) and Emily (USA) I will be working for the Chaitanya Charitable Trust. One of their initiatives is the „Happy Children Center“ where they offer education for kids in the slums. They want to significantly extend their reach and grow from three to 60 centers. Our task will be to provide them with a strategic plan around financing and marketing that hopefully helps them to reach that goal! So very exciting project and currently we are trying to get as much material as possible before our departure.
Besides our project there are two more projects the remaining group will be working on. One is related to agricultural related projects with farmes and the other one wants to improve the english education.
That much for today since I still need to do some shopping for the trip … 😉
